This tab easily allows you to browse a backup. The upper part of this tab displays if a backup can be browsed or not.
Select a backup to browse it
The upper part of this tab contains a link where you can select a backup file that should be browsed. Click on this link to select the desired backup file. You can either select a regular backup file or a self-restoring backup file. To choose between these two file types, just go to the dropdown list near the "File name" field.
After you have selected the backup file that should be browsed, the upper part of this tab displays further information about this backup. If the selected backup file includes comments, a new window is opened displaying the comments for this backup. If the selected backup file is encrypted, you will be prompted to enter your password in order to decrypt the backup file.
Browse the backup
After you have selected the backup file that should be browsed it will automatically be loaded into the tree structure below. Depending on how much data you have, the loading process can take several minutes or more.
After the backup has been loaded completely, you can use the area below to navigate through the backup. All folders of the backup will be displayed on the left whereby all folders as well as all files will be displayed on the right for the folder that has been selected on the left.
Additionally, you can also extract specific files and even whole folders from your backup file by selecting the file or folder and clicking with your right mouse button on it and selecting "Extract". After clicking on "Extract", a new window is displayed where you can select the folder where you would like to store the files or folders to be extracted.
